Rehabilitation of 2No. 12 Man Inspectors Qtrs at MOPOL 23, Ikeja in Lagos. awarded to Messrs. True Faith International Nig. Ltd.: Details :The work comprises the demolition/dismantling of damaged existing asbestos/corrugated iron roofing sheet, and replacing the damaged roof covering with 0.55mm approved oven baked coloured corrugated aluminium roofing sheet. The decayed roof trusses, broken and damaged asbestos ceiling are replaced with new ones, While the damaged fascia board and wooden frames are equally changed for new ones.
The doors are polished hardwood panel doors. The existing but damaged windows are replaced with anodized aluminum sliding windows. Plumbing works includes reactivation of old piping and putting of new fittings.
The electrical works consists of damaged fittings and the replacement of damaged or burnt wire. The walls finishing include amendment of cracked and replacement of damaged of wall tiles. There is provision for floor re-screeding and asbestos ceiling. The metal balustrade/handrail is replaced.
The external works consist of repair/dislodgment of drains, gutters, septic tank and soak away. The rehabilitation also involves replacement of all obsolete and damaged furniture and general painting in emulsion and gloss paint of the structure including construction and fixing of mosquito netting.
